Theology on Tap (TOT) is a program founded in the Archdiocese of Chicago over 25 years ago and is now sponsored by Catholic dioceses across the United States. We take theology to a local pub to meet young adults where they are. The San Francisco TOT began in 2002 with the Episcopal Diocese of California Young Adult Ministry as an ecumenical event. Although we are still collaborating with the Episcopal Diocese, our Theology on Taps are held as Catholic only and Episcopal only perspectives. These evenings offer information, faith-sharing and question and answer opportunities with local theologians and others with experience in living their faith with integrity. This program brings young Catholics in their 20s together in a familiar location.
