10th Annual MCF Lenten Retreat, March 12th - 14th, 2010 atChristian Renewal Center, Silver Falls, OR. Real love causes real change. CONVERSION: AN ONGOING PROCESS: LIVING WITH JESUS. This Lent is a perfect opportunity to reflect on our personal life-styles, attitudes, possessions, actions, words and deeds. During this time together we will reflect on what it takes to make changes and what is necessary to build a solid relationship with Jesus. “What would have to change to have Jesus in your life?” is but one of the many questions for our reflection at this retreat! The death of our Lord should always make us take a good hard look at how we live our lives. Real Love causes real change! This retreat will be an opportunity for real growth! Join young adults from around the Archdiocese- single and married- for a weekend of prayer, reflection, & fellowship. Retreat Director: Fr. John Henderson. RSVP Now! We Only Have Space for 20 People!! When: Friday, March 12th 8:00 p.m.- Sunday, March 14th, 2010 morning (option to go to Mass as a group in Silverton or Mt. Angel.) Where: The retreat will take place at the Christian Renewal Center at Silver Falls, which is about 1 1/2 hours from Portland. Take I-5 south to Exit #271 - Woodburn, Silverton/Hwy 214. Follow Hwy 214 south 30 miles through Woodburn, Mt. Angel and Silverton to Silver Falls State Park. Turn left on N. Fork Rd. after entering the park. Bring: You will need to bring your own bedding: pillow and sheet/blankets or a sleeping bag. Also bring a towel and washcloth (for showers) and personal items. Please bring a snack/beverage to share if you wish. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided. Please also bring a pen, a pad of paper/notebook and a bible. Dress: Casual; walking/hiking shoes and outerwear recommended if you want to enjoy the surroundings. Food/Lodging: Registration includes two nights lodging, three meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. Please eat dinner before coming on Friday night.Cost: Cost for the weekend: $85.
